Filters for Aluminium Casting

alucel.jpg

FULLY SINTERED SELF-BONDED CERAMIC FILTERS FOR NON-FERROUS ALLOYS- The next generation of high performance advanced ceramic filters. Manufactured from high purity aluminum oxides, available in many shapes and pore sizes. Highly porous, open-cell, sintered ceramic material. Tortuous paths with low resistance to fluid flow. Low density and low heat capacity. Good thermal shock resistance and superior strength properties. Excellent media for filtering various low temperature alloys such as aluminum, bronze, copper, zinc, etc. as well as precious metals such as silver and gold.

Filters for Steel Casting

stahlfilter.jpg

Advanced reticulated ceramic foam filters for iron, steel andinvestment casting – the best in filtration technology for ferrous foundries. High performance to withstand the most severe environments and demanding application. Continuous open-cell structure provides tortuous path during molten metal lower case flow. Effectively removes inclusions by screening and adherence to ceramic structure. Tight control of pore size and mesh thickness to assure consistent flow rates. Stringent manufacturing standards deliver the highest quality filter in the industry. UDICELL™ filters are available in a wide range of shapes and pore sizes for all steel and large iron castings.
