Your responsibilities

  • Freight data management (routing, transport zones, etc.)
  • Freight cost management
  • Work closely with Procurement to manage and coordinate logistics freight projects and tender management
  • Implementing an integrated a Complaint Management
  • Optimization of logistics processes, including freight and container- & asset management (TMS)
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities and solutions measured by KPIs
  • Continuous reporting and performance tracking (e. g. delivery performance, logistics cost, budgeting)
  • Coordination with freight forwarders

Your profile

  • University degree in in business and/or engineering or equivalent, ideally with focus on Supply Chain Management
  • 3-5 years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management in an international industrial company, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Experienced in modelling business processes
  • Profound market expertise
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking as well as qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and confident appearance
  • Hands-on-mentality, intrinsic motivation and proactiveness
  • Very good IT skills (SAP R3, BW and MS Office)
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
