Your responsibilities

  • Establishing, maintaining, and strategically expanding long-term customer relationships within your sales region
  • Selling the Group’s entire product portfolio
  • Preparing quotes, negotiating prices, and closing contracts
  • Serving as the point of contact for all commercial and, in some cases, technical matters on the customer side
  • Supporting customers throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Achieving sales and profit targets for the defined customer base
  • Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Developing new business areas with existing customers
  • Independently conducting on-site trials at customer locations, in some cases in collaboration with the Application Engineering or Technical Product Management
  • Forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning in coordination with Production/Supply Chain/Sales Management
  • Assisting with technical clarifications in collaboration with Application Engineering and Product Management 
  • Handling customer complaints in collaboration with Quality Assurance and the relevant departments 
  • Market monitoring and competitive analysis within the foundry industry 
  • Maintaining CRM systems, documenting customer contacts and the status of negotiations 
  • Regular reporting to sales management/executive management 
  • Participation in trade shows, technical conferences, and industry events (e.g., GIFA)
